FIX Message Routing

Reduce capital and operating expenditure costs associated with running financial trading networks

Utilize centralized session management; dynamic load balancing coupled with High Availability (HA) operating modes to provide flexible, reliable and scalable, low latency message routing.

Adding a FIX Protocol Router to a trading network provides for Dynamic Load Balancing  of message traffic across a pool of FIX gateway servers, rather than just static routing to a single server, avoiding traffic bottlenecks and protecting against variable message data latency.

Break free from the traditional IP-Address based routing methods by using tags in the FIX message header (i.e. SenderCompID & TargetCompID).

Perform FIX message  packet inspection and apply your own business rules to modify the content before forwarding the message to a gateway server.

Reduce the number of session connections to a gateway server by consolidating multiple incoming FIX sessions into a single data stream.

The modular design of our FIX Protocol Routers allows for easy scalability.

Populate a routing appliance with just one node and upgrade later to a multi-node solution, to satisfy a future business requirement for increased FIX session capacity.

The High Availability (HA) operating mode provides for a router node cluster deployment in an ACTIVE/PASSIVE configuration (with built-in health monitoring), facilitating automatic fail-over and minimizing a service interruption.

The router design allows for hot-swap replacement of a defective node without powering-down the appliance, avoiding costly maintenance downtime.

Configure a FIX session to automatically (and transparently) redirect traffic to an alternate FIX gateway server, should the primary server become unavailable.
